My name is Gaurav. I’m the founder of Moka. I have been a digital nomad for the last 10+ years. I also run a Vedic astrology business, which goes by the name Farfaraway where I share my perspective on the topic.

I was introduced to ChatGPT last year and I find the entire world of artificial intelligence extremely fascinating. I’m an active user of ChatGPT, Claude and Grok. I consider them an indicator of development, but I also see an issue of unfairness, as the content they offer frequently lacks direct attribution.

When I looked at the traffic numbers for my business, I noticed a dip since the time AI has become an active part of everyday use. It also got me thinking about other bloggers whose businesses must have been impacted, much as mine has. I feel with the passage of time, many bloggers might become invisible as Google pushes them behind AI summaries. That inspired me to create a visibility platform for bloggers such as myself, which has led to the creation of Moka.

I also hope Moka can bring back the habit of seeking out human perspectives, as I used to do on Google. For example, if I was searching for “Is Italy better than Spain for being a digital nomad?”, I would prefer reading a perspective from someone who has had to face that choice, or a traveler who’s lived in both countries. Most likely, that person would be a blogger.
