Mokapot is a search engine with a brain and a heart.
What is the mission?
To offer internet search results as perspectives from humans, so we broaden our perspectives beyond summaries.
To create a visibility platform for bloggers who are currently hidden behind AI-generated summaries, large businesses, heavily optimized SEO content and discussion forums, so they get the readers they ought to have received.
How is it different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT and the other models are excellent at making lists, quick emergency information, solving maths or code. That is plainly useful. But for questions that require judgment and interpretation, a perspective is required, such as: Should I get a cat or a dog? Should I go for further education or get a job instead? Or is Mokapot the best way to brew coffee?

How does it work?
- We look through the highest-ranked articles for your exact question.
- We read the articles we find for your question, respecting each site's robots.txt. Information about the writer comes from the article's metadata.
- We make a final check that the article is relevant to your question and that it was written by a real person. If it passes both checks, we show you the perspective.
AI works behind the scenes — to search, read, verify and organise articles. It does not summarise the perspectives in those articles.
